Welcome. This site keeps the running record of Uta, a Japanese elementary-school girl, exactly as it happened.
If you are a parent of a young runner, here is where everything lives.
Find a race result
Every race and every mark sits in one table, newest first. Wins and top-8 finishes are flagged. Where a video post exists for that race, a "Read" link appears on the row.
How to read a monthly recap
Once a month: distance, days run, and the aerobic-to-quality split, as a table and a chart. The numbers are measured, never estimated, and there are no comparisons with other children or with national averages. Quiet months and injury layoffs are shown as they were.
About Uta
School year, age, club, and how each personal best has moved over time, with top-8 rates by year group and by age.
Videos and posts
Race days and training sessions go up on YouTube, and the ones with results become posts. When a post ends with "See this race in the record list", that takes you back to the table.
What this site does not do
- Compare your child with Uta. The only numbers here are hers
- Recommend training. You will not read "do this and your child gets faster"
- Go into health or injury detail. It stops at "complete rest"
